This week was mostly about me getting my to-do list down to a manageable level. My email in-boxes were out of control for months, and I really wanted to get started writing here on Bionic Style occasionally. Not to mention Bionic Beauty needed some navigation upgrades… basically I’m finally catching up after my-year-from-hell, also known as 2009 to the everyone else.
Here’s the songs that kept me grooving while I worked…
Uprising by Muse
Fighter by Christina Aguilera
Away from Me by Evanescence
Shark in the Water by VV Brown
Whiskey Hangover by Godsmack
Down In It by NIN
The Pretender by The Foo Fighters
Feel free to share any songs that really defined your mood or experiences this week!
Let’s face it… I’m a perfectionist when it comes to designing my own graphics for my blogs, laying them out, and getting the header images, fonts, and color scheme just exactly right. Because I know this about myself (and now you do too), I’m going to start publishing articles here on Bionic Style before the site design is complete. I *am* working on it behind-the-scenes, and hope that you all will love it.
In the meantime, here’s the proposed color scheme of the moment…
Proposed color scheme for the new Bionic Style website
And yes, it’s subject to change.
If you’re wondering about content, the Bionic Style blog is going to cover a wide-range of topics. Some of the upcoming topics I have planned include Home Decor on the cheap, inspirational artwork, crafting projects that pretty much anyone can do (like modifying those old man-sized T shirts, or snazzy-ing up your too-short jeans, and even making a cover for your Kindle, or other e-book reader!), advice Questions & Answers, the latest gee-whiz gadgets and other geekery fun.
If you have something you think should be covered on Bionic Style, please let me know! I’d love to get your feedback on the color scheme as well. And as the design progresses, speak up. After all, I get the most joy out of blogging when my readers are getting equal joy from the website!
